The lynnphonics

Lynnphonics - lin·fón·iks (n.) - A musical group composed of Lynn McGee (Vocals, Percussion) and Scott Moore (Guitar, Vocals) playing a wide variety of popular songs as well as original music. Pop/Rock/Blues in a Vocal/Acoustic Guitar format.

She sings, he plays the music. Think of us as an American Eurythmics - or, if you prefer, maybe The Captain & Tennille without any songs about fornicating muskrats. Our services are available for concerts, club dates, bar gigs, casuals, formals, weddings, funerals, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, Maasai rite of passage fire walking ceremonies, mob inductions where guys are "made", battleship christenings, house parties, block parties, debutante balls, etc.

Lynn McGee is a veteran of L.A. bands and studio session work, as well as a founding member of the Triangle blues band The Monarchs.

Scott Moore - Guitar, Vocals

Scott Moore has played guitar and bass in Rock, Country & Blues groups on the east coast and in Spain. While living overseas, he produced a solo acoustic guitar CD - "Music From The Cliffs Of Cádiz".

LYNNPHONICS ELECTRIC BAND

. . . Lynnphonics Enhanced, Lynnphonics HD, or, my personal favorite, The Lynnphonic Philharmonic Orchestra. Anyway, whatever you call it, we are working some very talented friends to bring you an even more compelling musical experience, if that's possible.

Tim Collins - Electric Guitar

Tim is one the most tasteful lead guitarists for miles around, and graces us with his presence when he is not playing with his band, Twelve Cents Shy. Also, he has nicer guitars than you, so there!

Ed Mezynski - Drums

Ed is the soulfulest, swingingest drummer you could ask for, and we are lucky to have him with us when he is not playing his long-standing gig with Joe Bell & The Stinging Blades. He also boasts the band's most difficult last name.

Jason Simons - Bass Guitar

Jason is another "blues jam all-star" and is on loan to us from his funky trio Ape Foot Groove. We will try to return him with as little damage as possible.
